Social Responsibility

Fair Employment Practices: Fully compliant with the Fair Labor Standards Act and USA labor and employment regulations. We offer healthcare and life insurance and a 401k retirement plan.
Community Engagement: Promoting job growth and supporting civic and community initiatives are key priorities for us.
Employee Well-being: As a responsible employer, we prioritize the well being of our team members and foster a fair, supportive and inclusive workplace culture.
Supplier Standards: All of our suppliers must comply with all applicable employment, health, safety and environmental laws.
Safety: Safety is a priority for Thomaston Mills and we strive for continual improvement. All associates are required to do mandatory training as safety is the responsibility of all.
Environmental Responsibility

Compliance and Accountability: We adhere to all environmental laws, regulations, and codes of practice and focus on the 3 R’s-REDUCE, RECYCLE AND REUSE
Sustainable Sourcing: Whenever possible, we source materials locally to reduce fuel costs and emissions.
Responsible Waste Management: All waste is managed responsibly. None of our textile trimmings or waste ends up in landfills; 100% is repurposed into new products.
Continuous Improvement: Monitoring and improving our environmental performance is a continual process.
Recycling Initiatives: We recycle all cardboard roll core sand use recycled pallets and cartons in our operations.
